Ghosts (2024) is one of five pieces in my Abandoned collection, and offers a chilling view inside the ward of an abandoned asylum. Plaster and paint crack and peel from the ceiling and walls, and debris litters the floor. An empty wheelchair sits in the foreground. Beyond it, an electroconvulsive therapy machine stands beside an iron bed. Around the ward are three semi-transparent figures in straitjackets, ghosts of the ones who were abandoned long before the building was. Hand-drawn digital art.
